Stratasys Direct Manufacturing is currently seeking a Scheduling Coordinator to join our team.  In this fast paced and dynamic role, you will be responsible for organizing and prioritizing the daily operation schedule, loading jobs into the shop floor, alerting shop floor departments to upcoming work load, and communicating with the applications team with regard to shop floor capacity to optimize machine capabilities and performance to achieve the highest productivity, finest quality, and on-time delivery.  Additional responsibilities may include the following: 

  • Interact with and coordinate machine time needs of applications team, sales, marketing, customer support, and corporate applications and sales tool teams 

  • Work with operations employees to increase equipment uptime and productivity 

  • Maintain appropriate levels of inventory on all assigned items 

  • Determine the need to expediting, following up on late orders and monitor delivery performance taking corrective action as needed 

  • Coordinate job schedule with other regional offices or facilities 

  

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • 2 year degree or equivalent experience 

  • 2+ years of administrative scheduling or equivalent experience 

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, while maintaining a good working relationship with the internal stakeholders 

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite 

  

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Prior use of scheduling software or systems 

  • Project management experience  

  • Strong sense of urgency  

  • Attention to detail 

  

Stratasys is currently seeking a Paint Finisher to join our Eden Prairie, MN facility.  In this role you will produce end quality prototype and production models ensuring that they meet company standards using a variety of equipment.  Utilizing customer files to view part details and following instructions on work orders.  A couple other duties will include: 

  • Prepare parts for cosmetic top coats by hand sanding with abrasives, air tools and media blasting 

  • Apply primer and painted top coats that meet customer standards for surface finish requirements including textured, smooth, semi-gloss, high gloss and matte. 

  • Mix paint, primer and paint additives per material manufacturers recommendations 

  • Review work instructions for product information and specific needs 

  

As a part of Stratasys, this position requires access to information and/or technology controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).  The successful candidate must be a U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S. (or, green card holder), protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.  

  

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent 

  • 1 year or more of industrial paint experience using UPLVspray guns. 

  • Basic Math skills 

  • 6+ months experience with computers including Microsoft Office programs and email 

  

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • 1+ years experience working with shop equipment including drill press, hand drills, sanders, etc. 

  • Good mechanical aptitude and craftsmanship 

  • Experience with precision measurement equipment
