Do you enjoy working in quality and additive manufacturing?  We have a fantastic opportunity open for a Quality Specialist in our disruptive additive manufacturing industry.

 

Our Quality Department is looking for a Quality Specialist to join our team in Valencia.  You would be responsible for assisting in research activities to determine root cause for defects and working in document control.  You will also be responsible for introducing the QC/QA department and process/procedures to new employees.  You will get to assist in reviewing first articles of inspection reports and managing the site non-conformance reports.  In addition to these things you will also get to:

  • Participate in on-site process improvements
  • Manage the QA MRB Cabinet
  • Responsible for performing Melt Flow and Tensile testing
  • Maintain and archive production quality records that are assigned to QA/QC department

 

As a part of Stratasys Direct Manufacturing, this position requires access to information and/or technology controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).  The successful candidate must be a U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S. (or, green card holder), protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State. 

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2+ years experience in a Quality Dept
  • Basic knowledge of SolidView or equivalent
  • Able to multi-task projects / assignments
