Stratasys Direct Manufacturing is currently looking for a Facilities Technician for our Valencia, CA facility.  In this role you would be a part of the Stratasys maintenance department and responsible for making sure that all machines are running properly, such that workers are safe and the plant can perform its function effectively.  This department makes periodic fixes, preventative maintenance and upgrades to all machines and equipment, you might also perform janitorial and grounds services.  A few other duties are:

  • Maintains a productive preventative maintenance program with accurate up-to-date records using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
  • Maintains critical and emergency equipment such as generators, UPS, Liebert systems, fire protection/pre-action systems, Security alarm system, and building electrical service.
  • Readily reacts to power outage situations by assessing the problem, determining manner of restoration and coordinating work in a timely manner with little disruption.


As a part of Stratasys Direct Manufacturing, this position requires access to information and/or technology controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).  The successful candidate must be a U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S. (or, green card holder), protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State. 



  • 2 year vocational/technical program with coursework in air conditioning/heating, electrical maintenance, operation & maintenance
  • FMP or SMA certification
  • 3+ years skilled mechanical and facilities maintenance experience
  • Licensed to drive company vehicles and forklifts



  • Knowledge of hand tools
  • Must be able to read and interpret drawings, sketches, OEM instructions and specifications.
  • Ability to read and use various types of test equipment
  • Ability to use deductive logic for troubleshooting equipment
