Job Title 

Senior Marketing Writer 

  

We are seeking an experienced Senior Marketing Writer to join our Industrial Business Unit team. You will play a key role in developing a wide range of content that will provide prospective Stratasys customers with a firm understanding of Stratasys products and platforms as well as thought leadership content to educate buyers in various stages of their journey about the benefits of 3D printing in general. 

  

Summary 

The senior marketing writer is responsible for creating content for various marketing materials used to promote Stratasys products and services. Examples include case studies, white papers, video storyboards, video scripts, blog posts, web content and marketing emails. This position is also responsible for the review, proofing and editing of content produced by outside vendors and internal sources to align with company brand and editorial standards. 

  

Responsibilities 

  • Interview internal subject matter experts to obtain information about the benefits and value proposition of Stratasys products for the purpose of writing marketing and promotional content. 
  • Interview customers for the purpose of writing customer case studies and use cases involving how they use Stratasys technology. 
  • Develop the content for new-product assets such as brochures, web page copy, white papers, solution guides and case studies. 
  • Write promotional emails for marketing campaigns. 
  • Create storyboards to provide direction to videographers in the creation of marketing videos.  
  • Craft interview questions for marketing and promotional videos. 
  • Collaborate with product development teams and application engineers to develop marketing assets based on product technical information. 
  • Incorporate key product messaging developed with internal marketing and product stakeholders into all written assets. 
  • Ensure all marketing and sales enablement content meets trademark requirements and follows brand standards for both written quality and visual style. 
  • Perform editorial review of internally generated content intended for customer-facing applications and edit as needed for compliance with company brand, tone of voice and quality standards. 
  • Convey information related to a technical subject in a form that is suitable and understandable to a variety of audiences. 

  

Minimum Requirements 

 

  • A minimum of 5 years’ of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree (preferably in marketing, journalism, or English); or 3 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience writing and managing marketing content.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience with Windows-based Office applications including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

 

 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Basic knowledge of Software, 3D printing, additive manufacturing, engineering or related technology sectors  
  • Technical experience such as a background in engineering or other technically related field is a bonus but not required 
  • Aerospace, Automotive and General Manufacturing industry knowledge - PLUS  
  • SEO background - PLUS
