Stratasys is offering a role as Senior Sales Manager, Consumer Markets, UK & Wider, based in the UK.
The position summary: You will own the sales & business management strategy for photopolymers in the UK, Ireland, Nordics, Benelux, CEE, Baltics, Adriatic, Balkans, Middle East and Africa. You will pursue new client acquisition, manage a few current key accounts, and inspire, develop, and coordinate the sales team in territories across EMEA.
In this role: You will report to the General Manager for North East & Wider, with a dotted reporting line to the Commercial Leader for Consumer, EMEA. The role is based in home office in the UK & requires frequent travel within the UK and Europe.
Your role:
- Own sales of Stratasys three photopolymer-based technologies across a territory of UK, Ireland, Nordics, Benelux, CEE, Baltics, Adriatic, Balkans, Middle East and Africa.
- Drive awareness of focal Use Cases enabled by Stratasys P3, Stereolithography and PolyJet technologies
- Demonstrate deep technical sales competencies dealing with additive manufacturing champions at customers (primarily OEM RP Shops, Service Bureaus, customers with VAT production environment)
- Enable, co-sell with and coach sellers at Stratasys authorized partners, driving the scaling of the photopolymer business
- Own selected named accounts – customers serving consumer markets - with sizable photopolymer installed base and scale up opportunity
- Work closely with Stratasys Key Account Managers in charge of global customer headquartered in the territory to standardize and scale photopolymer based AM use cases
- Acquisition of new logos in defined verticals
- Forecast & report key figures (hardware & material sales, unit replacement, upsells, use case expansion, conversion rate, etc)
Your qualifications:
- You bring at least 5 years’ experience in a similar sales role, with deep experience in Solution Driven Sales
- Technical Knowledge – you hold a degree in mechanical engineering, or a similar technical degree, and are deeply familiar with stereolithography and SLP technologies and in general have a strong background in photopolymer applications
- Demonstrated business development skills and a dedication to directly and indirectly enabling and coaching teams and colleagues
- Experienced managing relationships with resellers and channel partners
- Strong organizational planning and project management skills
- Self-motivated and a highly collaborative team player
- You are used to working independently and with minimum guidance
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (spoken and written)
- Domestic travel requirement about 30% within Europe (as required / flexible) including frequent travel within the UK
