As support for our FP&A team in EMEA we recruit a  

Senior Financial Analyst / Controller (m/f/d) 

Location: Rheinmünster near Baden-Baden 

 

 

You will be an active Finance Business Partner to the management team and EMEA stakeholders, ensuring that they receive your insights and that best practices are implemented and enforced for expense reporting and capital expenditures. You report to the Manager of FP&A EMEA and are the touchpoint to regional and local management and leaders.  

 

  

Main Tasks: 

  • Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales and expenses 

  • Participate in the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting process 

  • Address ad hoc financial analysis requests and inquiries 

  • Implementation and working with a Business Intelligence Tool and Dashboard reports 

  • Improve business performance by evaluating processes to drive efficiencies 

  • Quarterly financial closing and reporting 

  • Prepare meaningful presentations to Senior Management Team 

  • Active involvement in projects 

 

  

Qualifications: 

  • Min. 5 years of work experience in accounting or corporate finance, budgeting and planning, or controlling

  • Experience managing stakeholders across departments and divisions 

  • Team player and partnering with cross functional teams  

  • Ability to work in a fast paced and international environment in an efficient and effective way  

  • Willingness to challenge the status quo and achieve high standards for your deliverables   

  • Analytical and business mindset and curiosity 

  • Attention to detail and willingness to dig into the numbers 

  • High sense of creative initiative and independent work 

  • Outstanding skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint and ideally experience in Oracle / IBM TM1 / Qlik 

  • Excellent communication skills in English
