We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Intercompany Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing intercompany transactions, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and providing valuable insights through cash forecasting, variance analysis, and cash flow reporting.

 

 

What you will be doing: 

  • Intercompany Accounting:
    • Manage and reconcile intercompany transactions, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial data across multiple entities.
    • Collaborate with internal teams and subsidiaries to resolve discrepancies and streamline intercompany processes.

 

  • Cash Forecasting:
    • Develop and maintain comprehensive cash flow models to forecast short-term and long-term cash requirements.
    • Analyze historical cash trends and upcoming financial commitments to provide accurate and timely cash forecasts.
    • Collaborate with treasury and other relevant teams to optimize cash management strategies.

 

  • Variance Analysis:
    • Conduct in-depth variance analysis on actual financial results versus budget and forecast.
    • Identify key drivers of variances and provide insights to management on potential impacts on the overall financial performance.

 

  • Cash Flow Reporting:
    • Prepare regular cash flow reports and statements for management review.
    • Provide detailed analysis of cash inflows and outflows, highlighting key trends and areas for improvement.
    • Assist in the preparation of board presentations and financial reports related to cash flow performance.

 

  • Month-end and Year-end Close:
    • Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes related to intercompany transactions and cash-related activities.
    • Collaborate with the broader finance team to support financial reporting requirements.

 


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA or relevant professional certification is a plus.
  • Proven experience in intercompany accounting and managing complex financial structures.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform detailed variance analysis.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with financial modeling.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey complex financial information to various stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
