As a Security Engineer, responsible to execute security controls, defenses, deploy countermeasures as well as intercept and prevent internal or external attacks or attempts to infiltrate company email, data, e-commerce, and web-based systems.

 

Responsibilities

Systems Security

  • Participates in the implementation of network and computer security and ensures compliance with corporate cybersecurity policies and procedures
  • Performs security assessments of applications and systems using penetration and vulnerability testing and risk analysis
  • Contributes to the tracking, prioritizing and resolution of security incidents, issues, and vulnerabilities to provide a thorough post-event analysis

Security Guidance

  • Provide security guidance to the business and IT during process and solution development
  • Make recommendations for changes to security policies and procedures

 

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2-3 yrs. experience in risk management, information security, or IT systems jobs
  • 2-3yrs experience with of all layers of computer systems to include network, operating system, hardware, and application
  • 2-3 yrs. experience with SIEM Tools

 

  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Microsoft Office 365 administration experience

 

Education.

Four Year Degree in Information Technology and Information systems, Computer Science or Computer Engineering OR equivalent experience.
