The San Francisco location is looking for a Senior Test Engineer in the hardware quality department. Our Sr. Test Engineer will need to use their experience of different test methods/approaches to ensure excellence in product testing. This role will evaluate the right time to apply and utilize applicable testing methods/ approaches, which will result in world class Product Integrity and Reliability.



  • Building test set-ups, including data collection setups, in order to perform the tests
  • Develop automated tools to analyze large datasets for irregularities and trends
  • Execute testing activities to enhance product performance and consumer experience
  • Performing tests and collecting data
  • Participate and provide feedback with data in the phase review process
  • Understand un detail Product functionality and failure modes on order to interpret product requirement documents
  • Product Alpha/Life testing for core and peripheral product
  • Troubleshooting Product Alpha/life testing as the need arises
  • Set up equipment, acquire data and create reports
  • Build upon current test plans to meet Hardware Engineer requirements
  • Able to write and execute control test plans
  • Perform issue identification and root cause failure analysis
  • Prepare regular testing updates to highlight progress and significant developments
  • Ability to associate Engineering responses


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree (2 year degree) in a mechanical, Engineering, technology field.
  • 3+ years’ experience in an Electro-mechanical machinery design and/or testing position.
  • 2+ years experience running software products for data acquisition and analysis. 
  • 2+ years experience with Excel and Word.
  • 1+ year of understanding metrology understanding
  • Working knowledge of ESD and ESD best practices


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Clear and concise written and verbal communications skills.
  • Proficient with Excel or Google sheets including but not limited to pivot analysis, writing of formulas, conditional formatting.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment and independently.
  • Ability to multitask to keep multiple tests going at the same time.
  • Ability to work well with others.
