We are looking for a Senior Technical Marketing Manager! You'll be responsible for developing product and industry-specific marketing content, including 3D printing resource guides, training content, calculators, and sales enablement resources. You'll become a product and technology expert, teaching customers how to get the most from our print technology and high-performance materials. This position is a highly-visible and exciting role in an emerging business unit at Stratasys that is ushering in a new era of additive manufacturing end-use parts with some of the biggest brands in the world. 

 

Location: Remote (Ideally located in California)

 

Responsibilities:

 

Content Development  

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to plan and develop content to build product-based how-to technical content needs, including whitepapers, blog posts, videos, industry presentations, and application guides.   
  • Work closely with sales, customer support teams, and customers to understand and document key customer needs.  
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the content we develop is consistent, accurate, high-quality, and engaging.  
  • Produce, review, and ideate content in support of campaigns and new product introduction (NPI) activities  

 

Technical Writing and Editing  

  • Edit and proofread technical documents such as training manuals, datasheets, and design guides.  
  • Manage content consultants to ensure messaging and brand consistency.  
  • Incorporate feedback from application engineers, business unit leadership, and subject matter experts.  

 

Research  

  • Identify topics and customer stories that highlight Origin value props and reinforce product positioning   
  • Stay up to date with industry developments to ensure audience relevance  
  • Track competitive offerings and support sales enablement efforts  

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree Marketing or related discipline. (4 years of experience in lieu of degree)
  • 5+ years experience in manufacturing related industries, technical evangelism, technical marketing, developer marketing, or similar at a technology company. (For candidates with no direct marketing experience, previous experience in product management or engineering could be sufficient).    
  • Demonstrated expertise in technical storytelling in multiple forms, able to show examples. 

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Be detailed oriented with strong analytical skills and be able to conceptualize and simplify complex topics.  
  • Strong written and verbal communication/presentation skills with the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization 
  • Knowledge of 3D printing and additive manufacturing industry.

 

TRAVEL REQUIREMENT: 10%
