At Stratasys, we're looking for an experienced NPI Team Lead to lead the successful introduction of innovative products from development into manufacturing.

This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in bringing innovative products from development into manufacturing, working in a highly multidisciplinary environment that combines mechanics, electronics, software, materials, and manufacturing technologies.

 

What You'll Do

  • Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) activities from design readiness through production ramp-up.
  • Collaborate closely with global R&D teams to ensure Design for Manufacturing (DFM/DFX) and successful system integration.
  • Own Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), First Article Inspection (FAI) activities, and support Product Lifecycle Management (PLCM) milestones.
  • Ensure production readiness by managing BOMs, production documentation, tooling, fixtures, jigs, and manufacturing files.
  • Lead turnkey manufacturing activities with suppliers and subcontractors, both locally and globally.
  • Drive manufacturability improvements, cost reduction initiatives, product revitalization, and lifecycle support.
  • Serve as the primary technical interface between Operations and multidisciplinary R&D teams.
  • Support production, field issues, customer escalations, and continuous product improvements.
  • Develop engineering processes, standardize workflows, and mentor team members to ensure high execution quality and operational excellence.

 

What You'll Bring

  • B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • 10 +years of engineering experience within a industrial, medical device, semiconductor, or complex multidisciplinary environment.
  • At least 5 years of experience in NPI and manufacturing.
  • 3+  years of technical leadership or people management experience.
  • Experience working in a highly multidisciplinary environment, collaborating with Mechanical, Electrical, Software, Systems, Manufacturing, and Operations teams.
  • Hands-on experience in mechanical design using SolidWorks.
  • Experience creating and managing BOMs and engineering documentation.
  • Experience working with PLM systems.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, DFM/DFX, product lifecycle management, and supplier management.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
