We are looking for a systems engineer for our engineering team under R&D group. This role will include the testing and validation of system components, establishing requirements, evaluating performance, and developing proof of concept for applications assigned. Additionally, this role will be responsible for developing and managing key resources that enable the integration program. This will be a dynamic role that will require the individual to effectively manage multiple priorities while clearly communicating to all internal and external customers with an appropriate sense of urgency. This person will interface regularly with a product manager, customer support, field domain experts, and strategic partners/customers. Looking for the makers, the forward thinkers and the problem solvers.

 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Work on multiple projects and provide leadership and technical guidance.
  • Lead system  projects and coordinate with all stakeholders to ensure manufacturing plan that meet product’s goals in aspect of Design for Excellence (DfX)
  • Acts as a point of contact for technical escalations on product integrations.
  • Support the customer support team as Tier 4
  • Build and help manage integration resources (files, tools etc.) as needed to enable the program.
  • Responsibility for definition and Validation of systems and subsystems (hardware/ software/ mechanics).
  • Help define and test hardware/software requirements that support both current and future system solutions
  • Keep current on industry trends, changing market ,regulatory requirements, and competitive products under FDA and CE regulation
  • Analyze competitive solutions, understand user workflows, and develop competitive comparisons.
  • Able to learn and understand complex system concepts
  • Expected to maintain and continue to develop technical expertise and commercial awareness of 3D printing products and the industrial marketplace.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering discipline. an advantage of a  Master’s Degree in system engineering.
  • a minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience supporting multidisciplinary system applications
  • Knowledge of multidisciplinary products, including but not limited to: PLCs, Motion Control, Operator Interface, Networking / Communication, Information Software, Safety and I/O.
  • Experience with 3D CAD and Simulation Environments (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.)
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with remote technical teams
  • Ability to solve technical problems while working on multi-disciplinary product
  • Self-motivated, self-maintained and able to take the initiative to solve problems
  • Ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines
  • Strong understanding of an operation workflow process
  • Strong written and verbal English language communication skills.
  • Strong ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships on a multi-level basis.
  • Ability to work under pressure and flexible with changes
  • Ability to present technical information and effectively communicate across all levels of the organization. Fast response.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Multi-tasking capability with task priorities and organized working methodologies.

  • Experience in ERP systems – Oracle is an advantage
  • Project management software – MS project or equivalent
