Stratasys, a global leader in 3D printing, is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our P3™ technology team. This role focuses on the design, development, and integration of electronic systems in our cutting-edge P3™ 3D printers, which leverage advanced DLP-based photopolymer technology.

 

As part of a multidisciplinary R&D team, you will lead board-level design, system wiring, and electrical integration activities to ensure high-performance, robust, and reliable printer systems.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop electronic circuit boards (digital and analog) for Stratasys P3™ 3D printers.
  • Design and document cable assemblies and wiring harnesses for system-level integration.
  • Lead board bring-up, debugging, and system-level electrical validation and integration.
  • Collaborate closely with mechanical, software, and system engineers to define and implement HW/SW interfaces.
  • Ensure designs meet performance, safety, EMC/EMI, and reliability requirements.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive engineering documentation: schematics, BOMs, wiring diagrams, test procedures.
  • Provide support for existing products, including troubleshooting and cross-functional collaboration with Engineering and Customer Support.

 

Required Qualifications

  • B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering – mandatory.
  • 5+ years of experience in electronic board design and system electrical integration – mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge in analog and digital circuit design, including experience with A/D and D/A components – mandatory.
  • Proficient in the design and integration of DC/DC power supplies and power budgeting – mandatory.
  • Hands-on experience with standard communication protocols: SPI, I2C, UART – mandatory.
  • Skilled in the design and documentation of cabling and wire harnesses – mandatory.
  • Experience with lab tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers etc..– mandatory.
  • Strong system thinking and debugging skills across hardware/software interfaces – mandatory.
  • Intermediate English proficiency (written and verbal) – mandatory.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with high-speed interfaces: PCIe, USB 3.0, Ethernet, DP,HDMI – an advantage.
  • Familiarity with EMC/EMI design practices and regulatory compliance – an advantage.
  • Experience in 3D printing, optical systems, or industrial equipment – strong advantage.
