The Director of Dental Products will lead the product strategy and execution for our 3D printing dental product portfolio, focusing on outbound activities to drive significant business growth. This role requires a deep understanding of the dental market, 3D printing technology including hardware, materials, software and services, and a proven track record of successfully launching and managing products. The Director will be responsible for defining the product roadmap, conducting market research, understanding customer needs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring innovative solutions to the market. This role requires unique combination of product leadership and business acumen to achieve ambitious growth targets within the complex healthcare environment. You will work with industry leading oral care institutions, key opinion dental leaders, our marketing team and other personnel to support the development of applications that utilize Stratasys solutions to produce a positive clinical, patient and financial return for our current and future Dental customers. Succeeding in this role will require a self-starter who is excited about the impact that AM can have within the dental industry, who has a strong dental network and understands how to penetrate into dental labs and clinic.

Travel required: up to 30% as needed

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Product Strategy & Roadmap: Develop and execute the overall product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the 3D printing dental product line, aligned with company objectives and market opportunities. This includes prioritizing features, defining target markets, and identifying potential partnerships.
- Lead and oversee cross-company teams collaborations (R&D, NPI, Marketing, Operations, Customer success, Application Engineers, Regional GTM) to drive successful product development, launch and adaptation.
- Oversee and support product life cycle development through continuance work with RnD teams.
- Outbound Product Activities: Lead all outbound product activities, including
- Market Research & Voice of Customer (VOC):
- Conduct thorough market research, competitive analysis, and VOC activities to identify unmet customer needs, emerging trends, and market opportunities. Utilize this information to inform product development decisions including but not limited to feasibility testing, clinical evaluation, preparation of MRD and PRD
- Understand competitive solutions and our key advantages as perceived by targeted customers and regularly communicate such to our Product and Marketing organizations to influence our development roadmap. Identify and implement strategies to counter competitor activity and maintain market share.
- Market Research & Voice of Customer (VOC):

- Product Positioning & Messaging: Develop compelling product positioning and messaging that differentiates our products from competitors and resonates with target audiences. Support and provide insights into marketing collateral, sales tools, and training materials.
- Go-to-Market Strategy & Launch:
- Develop and support execution of multi-year go-to-market strategies for product in-development, new product launches, and adaptation, including product positioning, pricing, sales enablement, and marketing campaigns. Work closely with the VP of Healthcare and regional GTM managers.
- Collaborate and ensure continuance commercial communication with cross-company business units and teams, including as regional sales channels, marketing, product development, customer success and regulatory teams to ensure a cohesive go-to-market strategy for new and existing products.
- Work directly within targeted geography to develop and drive innovative solutions that are best achieved using Stratasys equipment, solutions, and services.
- Analyze sales, market data and reports to identify trends, competitor activity, and areas for improvement, and recommend required adjustments to business strategy to achieve the desired results.
- Sales Enablement: Equip the sales team with the necessary tools, training, and resources to effectively sell the product portfolio. This includes developing sales presentations, product demos, and competitive battle cards.
- Represent Stratasys at commercial and customer events as a leader in the industry through both presentation and small-large group capacities.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, science (Life sciences preferred) or a related field, MBA a plus
- 10+ years of equivalent work experience in a Dental or medical device sectors; Dental experience- a plus
- 10+ years work experience in Product management with multi-disciplinary systems (including capital equipment, materials, accessories, services, software- a plus).
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing strategic product go-to-market programs, accounting for substantial market growth.
- Demonstrated experience in developing, implementing and launching new products to market
- Demonstrated experience working in international markets. US and Europe- a plus.
- Experience in direct management of a minimum of 4 employees. International employees- a plus
- Demonstrated experience in working with strategic partners/accounts, developing, and executing multi-year growth programs.
- Demonstrated success of working with cross-functional teams such as GTM, RnD, Marketing, Operation, Customer success, RA/QA to define innovative market and customer opportunities.
- Ability to work well with others at all levels.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience working with Salesforce or other CRM reporting tools.
- Experience working in dental industry, working with key opinion leaders and other oral care professionals.
- Experience working with additive manufacturing (3D Printing) equipment or materials.
- Experience with customized software/solutions.
- Demonstrated experience in business development.
- Experience working for international corporates and with multinational cross-functional teams. Startup environment a plus.
- Experience working in a medically regulated environment. Medical quality management and regulatory requirements knowledge (FDA/MDR)- a plus.
- Proven capacity in critical thinking, data analysis, and data-driven decision-making.
