A member of the materials R&D team focusing on the development of innovative photopolymer resins for 3d printing. As a junior researcher (Temp position), you will work closely with project lead to support ongoing development activities.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Design and execute tests on the 3d printer according to workplan
  • Analyze failures in prints and prepare workplan for corrective actions
  • Conduct functional and performance testing
  • Document testing and write detailed reports
  • Perform mechanical analysis for printed parts
  • Prepare formulations according to recipe in chemistry lab
  • Assist with the design and optimization of formulation for 3d printing
  • Perform analytical testing of polymers and formulations
  • Work closely with Chemistry researchers, physicist
  • Hands on lab work

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Materials or Chemistry Engineering/Chemistry
  • Experience in one or more (preferable) areas: polymers, formulations, inks, printing technology, materials development in a multi-disciplinary environment
  • Proven experience in multi-disciplinary organizations for 2-4 years. preferred
  • Experience with polymer characterization techniques 
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Excellent English
