A member of the materials R&D team focusing on the development of innovative photopolymer resins for 3d printing. As a junior researcher (Temp position), you will work closely with project lead to support ongoing development activities.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and execute tests on the 3d printer according to workplan
- Analyze failures in prints and prepare workplan for corrective actions
- Conduct functional and performance testing
- Document testing and write detailed reports
- Perform mechanical analysis for printed parts
- Prepare formulations according to recipe in chemistry lab
- Assist with the design and optimization of formulation for 3d printing
- Perform analytical testing of polymers and formulations
- Work closely with Chemistry researchers, physicist
- Hands on lab work
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Materials or Chemistry Engineering/Chemistry
- Experience in one or more (preferable) areas: polymers, formulations, inks, printing technology, materials development in a multi-disciplinary environment
- Proven experience in multi-disciplinary organizations for 2-4 years. preferred
- Experience with polymer characterization techniques
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent English
