Stratasys is looking for a skilled and motivated Security Engineer Analyst to join our dynamic cybersecurity team. The Security Engineer Analyst will play a crucial role in safeguarding our organization's information systems and ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive data. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in Network, System and cybersecurity, hands-on experience with security tools and technologies, and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating security risks.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform security monitoring, analysis, and incident response to detect and respond to security threats, intrusions, and vulnerabilities.
  • Monitors specific cyber threat actors to understand their tactics and techniques.
  • Utilizes data analysis, threat intelligence and cutting-edge security technologies to find unusual behavior and malicious activity.
  • Hunts for hidden and unidentified threats to the organization’s cyber environment.
  • Tracks down the malicious agents who are already in a network and removes them from the environment once discovered.
  • Works with security monitoring tools such as firewalls, data loss prevention, network intrusion detection and antivirus software.
  • Uses a hypothesis-driven approach and behavioral analysis to uncover connections and correlations between potential cyber threats.
  • Reviews audit logs to identify unusual behavior in the network and endpoint devices.
  • Documents findings and incident investigations. Provides feedback and training to improve security controls.
  • Responsible for assessing network vulnerabilities and identifying critical security flaws by testing and validating the security of the network.

 

 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CCNP, CCNA, MCITP, MCSE or any equivalent qualification is an advantage.
  • Proven experience in security analysis, incident response, and vulnerability assessment within a corporate IT environment.
  • Proficiency in utilizing security tools such as SIEM, Identity MGMT, antivirus, and endpoint security solutions.
  • At least 5+ years of information security hands-on experience.
  • Knowledge of IP networking, TCP/IP well known protocols, network segmentation and network security-related technologies and information security principles and practices
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, security principles, and encryption technologies.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance frameworks and standards such as NIST, OWASP, or ISO 27001.
  • Familiarity with cloud security concepts and best practices, particularly with AWS/Azure/GCP environments
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach to learning and staying updated on the evolving cybersecurity landscape
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and convey complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
