BI Data analyst - Temp

We are looking for a Data analyst with a background in finance, for a temporary role in dynamic organization.

The Data analyst will be responsible for aggregating data into meaningful management reporting and analyses to support decision-making and drive performance improvement. This analyst will be also responsible for oversight and governance of databases and reporting environments associated with BI environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

•Responsible for working with key business leaders and other stakeholders to understand their data analytics needs and translating them into the Business Intelligence solutions

•Define new business KPIs, units objectives and create supportive infrastructure for measuring them

•Gain knowledge and understanding of the business to track wisely business performance and provide better analytics solutions.

•Provide actionable recommendations and conclusion out from in-depth analysis

•Explores the data and identify uncovered patterns, meaningful relationships, anomalies, and trends

•Oversight and governance of databases and reporting environments associated with BI environment

•Build and maintain reporting dashboards

•Improve efficiency of existing work processes and deliverables within the Finance organization

•Position assumes attention to the details and responsibility for data quality

Essential Education, Skills and Experience:

•Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering/ Economics/ Statistics or other quantitative discipline.

•Minimum 4 years of relevant employment experience as Qlik Sense developer,driving business insights through large, complex data sets in technology oriented companies.

•Experience in building visualizations and dashboards using data visualization tools.

•High level English

•Experience with predictive modelling (decision trees, regressions, etc.)- an advantage .

•Advanced skills in Excel functions and PowerPoint, VBA a big advantage.

•Experience in writing SQL queries and thorough understanding of database concepts and relationships- mandatory.

•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

•Candidate have to be proactive, delivery focused with wide and out of the box thinking

•Able to work in a team and in a multitasking and dynamic environment
