Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Materials Sales Manager to join our dynamic team. The main purpose of this role is to accelerate and deliver regional sales growth of 3D Printing Materials.  The Regional Materials Sales Leader (RMSM) reports directly to the Global Materials Sales Director and is an accountable member of the Global Materials GTM team.  The RMSM will be responsible for material sales across all technology platforms in the region, and will be a key member of the Regional leadership team.  Working as an integrated part of the Regional team, this role will enable focus and grow material opportunities along the customer journey from pre-sale to post-sale.  Through customer interactions with Key Accounts, Channel partners and the territory teams in the region, the RMSL is accountable for building a commercial materials pipeline with opportunities for short-, medium- and long-term incremental revenue capture.  Finally, the RMSL contributes to materials thought leadership and marketing efforts in the region, collecting and sharing material insights both internally and externally. 



  • Accountable to meet or exceed the regional targets for material sales by achieving sales volumes consistent with pricing and product strategies.  This includes retaining and/or exceeding legacy Covestro base material revenues post-integration. 
  • Integrate within the region, collaborating with Territory Managers, Channel Managers, Channel partners, Key Account Teams and BU leads to ensure execution of material sales strategy:
  • Align on an regional execution plan and KPIs for materials in the region 
  • Create, maintain and capture a robust pipeline of short-, mid- and long-term business development/sales opportunities in the region 
  • Ensure integration of materials expertise/capability in all regional customer- and market-facing projects
  • Act as expert/change agent in the region for materials sales both internally and externally.
  • Understand, monitor and leverage trends, competition and use-case opportunities for materials in the region
  • Represent Stratasys in key external forums to ensure regional material leadership
  • Optimize utilization of key material infrastructure, analysis & processes to highlight opportunities, track progress and ensure KPI achievements.
  • Accountable member of the Global Materials Sales Team in delivering agreed targets and ambition to grow to $1B business by 2026.




  • Ability to translate complex technical offerings into compelling commercial solutions; technical background is a plus, but not required
  • Strong relationship/engagement/network builder, negotiator & influencer
  • A high level of business awareness and acumen
  • Strong leadership, influence, communication and organizational skills relevant to the regional culture
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong conflict management skills



  • Strong commercial employee with Bachelor’s degree in business or technical (e.g. BS, technical or science based degree) and minimum >3 years professional experience in sales, business development or sales leadership positions;
  • Revenue/PnL experience >3 years
  • Strong sales leader with knowledge of the regional market for 3D Printing; finds new/creative ways of doing things
  • Strong history of delivering top-line growth in innovation and fast-moving, challenging markets
  • Ideally the candidate brings along market knowledge and a network within the 3D printing, 3D printing materials and digital industries, or strong background in a relevant manufacturing industry segment such as automotive, aerospace, medical, etc.
  • Fluent in English; other language and/ or other region-specific language will be an advantage
