Stratasys is looking for an Estimator to review requests for quotations from customers, determining if the request aligns with the Urethane department's capabilities and capacity.  You will determine pricing for designs that align well with the business model.  You will submit this pricing to Project Engineers and Sales staff who will relay to the customer.  It will be important to provide exemplary service to internal customers while setting pricing in a way that is consistent and in line with leadership.  A few other job duties will include:

  • Review customer requirements in the form of 3D CAD data and 2D mechanical drawings.
  • Participate in internal conference calls to strategize large opportunities with operations, sales and management.
  • Review aerospace application of cast urethane parts
  • Determine which designs are a good fit for the team to manufacture
  • Assess risk items and document appropriately.


As a part of Stratasys Direct Manufacturing, this position requires access to information and/or technology controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).  The successful candidate must be a U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S. (or, green card holder), protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State. 



  • Associates Degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Understanding of 3D part geometry



  • Project Management experience
  • Knowledge of CAD/CAM and/or rapid prototyping  or rapid prototyping industry experience
  • Knowledge of all types of molding
  • Technical sales background
