The Supervisor, Warehouse Operations is a hands-on leader responsible for overseeing and actively supporting daily warehouse and material flow activities that enable continuous manufacturing and outbound logistics. This role works alongside material handlers to execute core material-handling tasks while leading team performance.
The Supervisor ensures safe, accurate, and efficient inbound receiving, inventory management, order picking, and timely delivery of materials to production. This position drives operational excellence across safety, quality, service, and inventory accuracy.
Working closely with Production, Planning, Supply Chain, and Fulfillment teams, the Supervisor ensures materials are available in the right quantity, at the right time, and in the right condition to meet business and manufacturing needs.

What you will be doing:
- Lead day-to-day warehouse operations including receiving, inspection, put-away, storage, picking, kitting, line replenishment, packing, and shipping of raw and production materials
- Ensure accurate and timely movement of materials to support manufacturing schedules and outbound shipment commitments
- Monitor and manage operational performance metrics such as on-time delivery, pick accuracy, inventory accuracy, and throughput
- Ensure proper material handling, labeling, documentation, and ERP transactions for all inbound and outbound material movements
- Maintain safe, clean, and organized work areas in compliance with OSHA, company safety policies, and 5S standards
- Quickly identify and resolve material shortages, discrepancies, or process breakdowns to prevent production delays or shipment errors
- Supervise and develop a team of material handlers and warehouse associates supporting material flow and production operations.
- Assign daily work, set priorities, and monitor execution to ensure accurate, efficient, and safe operations
- Train, coach, and certify team members on standard operating procedures, ERP transactions, material handling equipment, and safety practices
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, continuous improvement, and operational discipline
- Manage attendance, performance feedback, cross-training, and skill development to build a flexible and capable team
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on material flow efficiency, inventory accuracy, space utilization, and labor productivity
- Partner cross-functionally with Production, Planning, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to identify and eliminate process gaps or recurring issues
- Support implementation and sustainment of standard work, visual controls, and process documentation
- Participate in root-cause analysis and corrective action activities related to inventory discrepancies, service failures, or safety incidents
- Contribute to warehouse and material-flow improvement projects, system enhancements, and operational readiness initiatives
- Partner with Production, Planning, Supply Chain, and Warehouse teams to align daily and weekly schedules with material availability and labor capacity
- Support short-term material flow planning to ensure timely receiving, staging, and fulfillment of high-priority production and shipment requirements
- Monitor inventory accuracy across warehouse locations and production-support areas; coordinate cycle counts, investigations, and reconciliations as needed
- Proactively communicate material shortages, constraints, or excess inventory to minimize production disruptions and service risk
Must have for this role:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or fulfillment operations
- Working knowledge of ERP or WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, NetSuite)
- Demonstrated professional leadership or lead experience (e.g. projects, teams)
Nice to have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain or related field
- Experience supporting manufacturing production lines or assembly environments
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement methodologies
- Familiarity with Oracle Inventory or barcoding systems
- Demonstrated success improving handoffs between manufacturing and warehouse operations

For this position, the typical annual starting base salary is from $60,071 to $70,943, which does not include variable incentive pay. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. Your individual base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, geographical location, and/or experiences.
