The Inventory Coordinator supports daily inventory control activities with a focus on accuracy, organization, and integrity. Key responsibilities include performing inventory counts, documenting transactions, and supporting material flow on the production floor. This role works closely with Warehousing, Production, Planning, and Logistics teams to ensure timely, accurate inventory movement while following established procedures. The position is essential to maintaining an efficient and well-organized inventory system that supports production and order fulfillment.
What you will be doing:
Inventory
• Perform regular cycle counts and assist with physical inventory activities
• Document inventory movements and assist with identifying basic discrepancies between physical stock and system records
• Ensure timely and accurate recording of inventory transactions in ERP system
• Support inventory team in maintaining inventory organization and accuracy
• Escalate unresolved or recurring inventory issues to the Senior Inventory Coordinator or manager
• Support inventory-related projects or events as directed
• Support warehouse operations in receiving, putaway, picking, other as necessary
Administrative
• Maintain clean and organized inventory storage areas, including production floor inventory locations
• Follow established inventory procedures and quality standards
• Assist with labeling, documentation, and basic data entry related to inventory
• Participate in process improvement activities under the guidance of the Inventory Coordinator or Supervisor
• Provide backup support for receiving and other warehouse functions as needed
Other
• Support material flow by moving inventory to and from production lines as requested.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Attend required training and contribute to a safe, efficient, and team-oriented work environment
• Demonstrate commitment to company values and behaviors
• Perform other related duties as assigned
Must have for this role:
• Willing to support operations at Eden Prairie, MN production site and Plymouth, MN warehouse.
• Able to operate powered lift equipment to support counts and investigations
• 3+ years’ experience in a warehouse or manufacturing facility
• 3+ years’ experience in inventory control or other coordination positions
• Proficient in Excel
• Demonstrated ability to work in cross functional teams with excellent communication skills, and execution skills
• Knowledge of inventory control best practices
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work well with others
Nice to have:
• APICS Certification
• Experience with Oracle Inventory Modules
• Experience operating powered lift equipment
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office, ERP proficient, Oracle proficient

For this position, the typical annual starting base salary is from $46,278 to $57,653 ($22-27 hourly), which does not include variable incentive pay. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. Your individual base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, geographical location, and/or experiences.
