Stratasys is looking for a Sales Engineer for one of our locations in Phoenix, AZ.  In this role you will be responsible for processing, vetting, and completing all new business RFQ’s.  This will also include following up with customer and assisting sales to win new business.  As the Sales Engineer you will be providing technical assistance, risk assessment of complex jobs, and project management for orders from assigned accounts.  A few other responsibilities are as follows:

  • Ensure new opportunities are a good fit for the IMS business model
  • Liaison between sales, customers, and suppliers/partners
  • Log monthly communications in SalesForce
  • Identify opportunities to grow business with new customers
  • Partner with assigned account managers to understand the requirements and application needs for each customer
  • Provide superior customer services as company’s point of contact for all technical customer needs


As a part of Stratasys, this position requires access to information and/or technology controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).  The successful candidate must be a U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S. (or, green card holder), protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State. 



  • 2- Year Degree with Tooling/Molding (IMS experience) or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of experience in an industry related role
  • 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience communicating professionally to a variety of internal/external customers
  • Experience managing multiple priorities concurrently and effectively



  • 2+ years of experience in estimating, selling, and/or project engineering of plastic injection molding projects
