The Stratasys Summer Internship Program is designed to give interns a holistic view of what Stratasys has to offer from a multitude of departments. Our 12-week paid program begins in May and goes through mid-August. During the program each intern is embedded in real time projects, which they contribute to or even lead depending on their experience level. Our Campus team helps to educate, train, and grow our interns through Monthly activity such as 3D printing trainings, Lunch & Learn seminars, and Coffee Talks with department leaders. We also try hosting offsite team building activities to promote networking among the group through volunteer events.
The Software Engineering internship is designed to give you valuable experience working on real products in an R&D environment. You will be part of the team that builds reliable, easy-to-use, maintainable, capable, and performant software products for 3D Print including GrabCAD Print and Insight. You will use production software engineering tools and fully participate in the scrum development process.
What you will be doing:
- Application software development and testing for 3D printer products and technology
- Work with team to implement new projects and features for GrabCAD Print and Insight
- Fix defects
- Improve software infrastructure
- Implement small and medium new features
- Fully participate in scrum software development process
Must have for this role:
- Working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or a related field
- Two years of higher education must be completed - (Entering Junior or Senior year education as of Fall 2026)
- Must have focus on Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering
- Knowledge of one or more software development tools:
- C++
- C# and .NET Framework
- JavaScript or TypeScript
- JavaScript frameworks such as node.js, react.js
- Understanding of Application and/or web software development
Nice to have:
- 3D Printing experience highly desired
- Preferred Major(s): Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering

Additional Information:
For this position, the base salary is $21.50 per hour.
