The HR Operations Lead – AMER will provide leadership and subject matter expertise across regional HR processes and global HR systems, with a strong focus on SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting and Employee Central. This role will manage HR operational workflows, drive system and process enhancements, mentor HR Operations team members, and lead HR reporting for the Americas region. The HR Operations Lead will also serve as the global HRIS admin for the SAP Recruiting module, ensuring high-quality configuration, support, and process alignment with Talent Acquisition and global HR teams

 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

HR Operations & HRIS Systems, Data & Process

  • Maintains the HRIS systems including the monitoring of data interfaces between other business systems such as; payroll, Oracle, Active Directory, etc.
  • Collaborates with the HR, Payroll & IT teams to evaluate & execute effective HR Operations process and systems to support the organization and drive Global alignment
  • Acts as subject matter expert on all HR Operations systems & processes
  • Generates HR audits or system reviews to identify and correct data inaccuracies within the HRIS systems
  • Completes monthly internal SOX audits on core HR data as well as supporting the annual external SOX audit
  • Serves as the global HRIS system admin for SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting module. Owns configuration changes, enhancement tracking, system troubleshooting, and UAT testing.
  • Supports global Talent Acquisition team and documents system workflows and process improvements
  • Acts as the primary HRIS contact for Employee Central in the AMER region
  • Partners with global HR Operations and HRIS teams to ensure data integrity, process alignment, and compliance
  • Serves as primary back up to HR Operations Specialist to maintain and update employee records and data within the HRIS systems with accuracy, onboarding, offboarding, promotions, and reclassification within the HRIS and other business systems.
  • Serves as lead and escalation point for day-to-day HR operations issues in the AMER region
  • Provides coaching, guidance, and workflow oversight to the regional HR Operations Specialist
  • Leads HR Operations team meetings and contributes to team development and performance reviews

HR Reporting

  • Manage and triage HR data and reporting requests across the AMER region, assigning requests to the appropriate team member and tracking to completion in order to meet SLA’s (e.g., compensation, benefits)
  • Drive improvement of reporting processes and data accessibility for HR business

Compliance

  • Ensures that all employee personnel files are maintained and up to date according to business record retention policies
  • Leads continuous improvement efforts in onboarding, offboarding, and other HR operational workflows
  • Creates, maintains, and optimizes standard operating procedures (SOPs) for AMER HR Operations
  • Ensures internal audit compliance and supports audit remediation
  • Partners with HR business partners on communications for the organization on changes to policies and procedures

     HR Project Management

  • Conducts research and analyzes data on assigned projects
  • May support or lead HR Projects related to HRIS, HR process, compliance, etc.
  • Support of M&A activities including; onboarding of newly acquired employees, tracking severance for exiting employees as a part of divestitures, etc

 

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in HR Operations, HRIS, or related HR functions
  • 2+ years of experience working with SAP SuccessFactors, preferably in the Recruiting or Employee Central modules
  • 2+years’ experience with HR processes, workflows, and systems across regions or business units
  • 2+ years data reporting experience.
  • Must be Export Control Compliant (ITAR)

     

 Preferred Qualificaitons:

  • Prior experience as a system admin in SAP SuccessFactors (Recruiting and/or EC).
  • Experience working in a global HR or shared services environment.
  • Familiarity with audit controls and compliance in HR
  • Project management or change management training or experience

 

Travel required: 10% or less

 For this position, the typical annual starting base salary is from $60,000- $75,000 base salary, which does not include variable incentive pay. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. Your individual base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, geographical location, and/or experiences.
