As a Software Sales Manager specializing in 3D printing software, you will lead our efforts to promote and sell our innovative software solutions tailored for the 3D printing industry. This role involves guiding an indirect sales team, developing strategic sales plans, and building strong relationships with customers. Your expertise in 3D printing technology and software sales will be critical in expanding our market presence and achieving ambitious revenue goals.



What you will be doing:

Sales Team Leadership

  • Train, guide, and partner with our Channel Sales team to help focus a high-performing sales team on Stratasys software.
  • Set clear sales targets and objectives for the team.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to team members to enhance their knowledge of 3D printing technology and software sales techniques.


Strategic Sales Planning

  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies and tactics for Stratasys software.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies within the 3D printing industry to identify opportunities.  
  • Collaborate with the marketing department to create targeted campaigns and marketing materials..


Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and potential customers that utilize 3D printing capabilities.
  • Understand the unique needs and challenges of customers in the industry and help tailor software solutions accordingly.       
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.

Product Expertise & Forecasting

  • Maintain a deep understanding of the company’s software solutions.
  • Stay updated on the latest developments and trends in 3D printing technology.
  • Collaborate with the product development team to provide market feedback and insights.
  • Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to senior management.
  • Forecast sales trends and adjust strategies as needed.     
  • Utilize CRM tools and analytics for accurate tracking and reporting.


Must have for this role:

  • 2+ years of success in software sales, preferably in the 3D printing industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.                  
  • In-depth knowledge of 3D printing technology and its applications
