The Channel Sales Representative will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with channel partners to drive sales and exceed revenue targets. This role requires strong communication skills, a deep understanding of the sales process, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders

 

What you will be doing:

Channel Management 

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing channel partners, providing sales support / training, and resources as needed to drive sales growth. 
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets through channel partners in the Latin America North market. 
  • Identify and onboard new channel partners to expand market coverage, capacity and increase sales opportunities. 
  • Travel within Latin America North region to meet with channel partners, attend industry events, and conduct sales meetings as required. Understand customer and business needs to cross-   sell and up-sell the company’s products. 
  • Act as a liaison between channel partners and the company, addressing any issues or concerns to ensure a positive partner experience.  

 Revenue Generation 

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product management, and customer support, to deliver and meet customer/ partner expectations. 
  • Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and insights to management, highlighting key performance metrics and areas for improvement. 
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new opportunities and challenges. 
  • Manages potential channel conflict with other sales channels by fostering excellent communication internally and externally, and through strict adherence to channel rules of engagement. 

 

Must have for this role:

  • 1-3 years’ experience in Channel sales
  • 1-3 years’ Capital equipment or Software Sales
  •  Flexibility to travel to customers and partner locations.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English, both written and verbal.

Nice to have:

  • Strong understanding of sales processes, including lead generation, pipeline management, and closing deals. Negotiation skills by creating a positive solution for all parties. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively with channel partners.   
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).  

 

Travel required:30-60%
