We are looking for a Quality Engineer to join our 3D Systems Quality team, located in Kiryat Gat.

 

In this role you will:

  • Implement Stratasys' processes and standards at suppliers and contract manufactures (local and abroad). 
  • Perform suppliers' certification and annual audits according to an annual plan.
  • Support all quality aspect in annual procurement cost reductions, new products and second source activities.
  • Preform production line inspection for 3D Printers, product quality training and ECO implementation tracking.
  • Supplier monthly and quarterly quality monitoring, including leading supplier QBR sessions.
  • Handle and lead customers and production line quality complaints thru all the point of failure.
  • Review and analyze to identify trends in products quality or defects to mitigate and prevent recurrence and future defects and report out on key quality data from assigned areas.
  • Preform deep failure investigations which define permanent corrective and preventive actions at supplies site and in house.
  • Transfer products from NPI to mass production release in all quality engineering aspects and risks analysis.
  • Using professional methods for quality investigations: Fault tree analysis, FMEA, 5Y, Fishbone. 
  • Lead and support continuous improvement activities to reduce variation and waste to acceptable targets

 

Requirements:

  • Industrial/ Electronics/ Mechanical engineer or Practical Engineer- mandatory.
  • Formal education in QA (CQM, CRE, CQE) - an advantage.
  • Internal auditor certification - an advantage
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in the industry
  • Proven experience in suppliers' quality management.
  • Ability to perform quality inspections for parts according to drawings and spec.
  • Quality engineering experience in mechanical engineering (sheet metal, machining ,metal casting), electro-mechanical, motion control systems, and software(preferred)
    • Knowledge in quality standards (ISO 9001&13485) and work with international regulations authorities.
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry- an advantage.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English & Hebrew.
  • Ability to travel abroad a few times a year.
  • Computer skills – Microsoft office-mandatory, Oracle – advantage, Agile- advantage
  • Experience with LEAN culture and tools
