We are looking for a detail-oriented and hands-on Analytical Laboratory Technician to join our team. In this role, you will perform analytical testing to support R&D, Quality Control, and manufacturing activities, ensuring reliable data generation, compliance with laboratory procedures, and the smooth operation of analytical equipment.

 

This is an ~8-month temporary replacement 

 

What You’ll Do

  • Perform routine and non-routine analytical testing to support product development, quality control, and production activities.
  • Conduct viscosity, density, and moisture content analyses using standard laboratory methods.
  • Perform and interpret analytical measurements using FTIR, UV-Visible spectroscopy, and color measurement systems.
  • Analyze test results, prepare reports, and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate laboratory records and ensure compliance with SOPs, quality standards, and documentation requirements.
  • Support investigations, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting activities related to materials and processes.
  • Perform equipment calibration, verification, and routine maintenance to ensure reliable operation.
  • Follow laboratory safety procedures and contribute to a safe and organized working environment.

 

What You’ll Bring

  • B.Sc. degree or Associate degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related scientific field.
  • 2-5 years of experience working in a Quality Control, Analytical, or Testing Laboratory environment.
  • Hands-on experience with analytical techniques such as viscosity measurements, Karl Fischer titration, FTIR, density measurements, and UV-Vis spectroscopy.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and quality.
  • Good documentation and record-keeping skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a cross-functional team.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with polymers, resins, coatings, or related materials.
  • Familiarity with laboratory information management systems (LIMS) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience working within regulated or quality-driven environments.
