Responsibilities:

  1. Leading a team of engineers and process engineers (maintenance) in planning and developing manufacturing processes.
  2. Create annual work plans emphasizing production, quality, ergonomics, continuous improvement, and cost-saving projects.
  3. Initiating and creating opportunities for savings by defining 2nd source and working with purchasing and supply chain departments.
  4. Ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
  5. Knowledge and experience in working with chemical materials, risk management, hazardous materials toxic permits, and overall responsibility for interactions with safety and environmental quality authorities.
  6. Manage and oversee engineering changes, provide guidance to the team, and collaborate closely with development departments (CPE/NPI).
  7. Providing comprehensive support to the production department regarding troubleshooting, production stoppages, escalations, and MRB (Material Review Board).
  8. Planning and overseeing technological improvements in manufacturing processes.

 

Job Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, Biotechnology, or a relevant field.- mandatory
  2. Proven experience of at least 5 years in leading an engineering team in a chemical manufacturing plant.
  3. Knowledge and experience producing medical materials and a deep understanding of the appropriate regulatory requirements.
  4. In-depth understanding of material manufacturing processes and chemical properties.
  5. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  6. Outstanding interpersonal skills and recommendations from work interfaces.
  7. Ability to work in a dynamic, high-pressure environment and meet deadlines.
  8. Experience with modern engineering technologies and software.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a global company.
