We are seeking a Mechanical Engineering student to join our FDM Engineering Department in Kiryat Gat. This role provides hands-on experience in supporting production processes, driving engineering projects, and contributing to quality and reliability improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with engineers and product leaders to support daily operations and ongoing projects.
- Develop and update work instructions, test procedures, and test plans.
- Assist in optimizing production processes and parameters for new technologies and materials.
- Support failure investigations and implement solutions to improve product reliability.
- Lead and participate in engineering projects, including cost reduction initiatives and production floor changes.
- Create detailed engineering drawings and 3D models for parts and assemblies.
- Contribute to new technology implementation and collaborate with sub-contractors on production line enhancements.
- Maintain adherence to safety policies and contribute to a culture of innovation and teamwork.
Requirements:
- 2nd or 3rd-year Mechanical Engineering student.
- Availability to work at least three full working days a week in Kiryat Gat.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SolidWorks experience is highly advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills using engineering principles.
- Very good command of English and Hebrew.
- Creative, hands-on, and team-oriented mindset with a proactive, "can-do" attitude.
- Interest in manufacturing technologies and willingness to learn about plastics processes (e.g., extrusion, compounding, or injection molding).
