Event Marketing Manager (m/f/d)

We are looking for a highly organized and execution-driven Event Marketing Manager (m/f/d) to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of marketing events for the iAM Marketplace. Stratasys iAM Marketplace is an independent, hardware-agnostic platform designed to accelerate the adoption of additive manufacturing (AM) across the product lifecycle.

This role is ideal for a hands-on marketing professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and ensures operational excellence across trade shows, partner events, customer activations, and digital event formats such as webinars.

You will play a key role in bringing our brand to life — ensuring flawless execution before, during, and after each event while amplifying impact through integrated marketing support.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Event Marketing & Execution (Primary Focus)

  • Independently plan and execute trade shows, partner events, customer activations, and digital formats (e.g., webinars).
  • Own end-to-end event coordination including timelines, budgets, logistics, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Manage booth planning, setup, and on-site execution, ensuring professional brand representation.
  • Coordinate marketing materials, printed collateral, samples, displays, and shipments.
  • Serve as the on-site decision-maker to resolve operational challenges in real time.
  • Ensure structured post-event processes including lead handover, reporting, and performance tracking.

Marketing Operations & Vendor Management

  • Manage external agencies and service providers (booth partners, print suppliers, logistics providers).
  • Brief, monitor, and evaluate vendor performance.
  • Maintain and track inventory of event materials and marketing assets.
  • Coordinate smaller event-related purchases and service bookings within approved budget.
  • Execute selected digital marketing measures (e.g., banners, retargeting, paid social) to amplify event visibility.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Sales, Business Development, Product Marketing, and external partners.
  • Support internal and partner marketing requests.
  • Contribute to presentations, content updates, and marketing materials.
  • Provide support during peak periods, product launches, or team absences.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
  • 3–5+ years of experience in event marketing, trade show management, or marketing operations.
  • Proven experience managing agencies and external vendors.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Experience managing budgets and coordinating logistics independently.
  • Fluent in German and English.
  • Willingness to travel for events (national and international).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in B2B marketing environments.
  • Experience supporting digital event formats (webinars, hybrid events).
  • Familiarity with lead tracking and CRM-based follow-up processes.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with high attention to detail.

What Success Looks Like

  • Flawless execution of trade shows and partner events.
  • Strong cross-functional coordination and clear communication.
  • Timely delivery within scope and budget.
  • Measurable event ROI and structured lead follow-up.
  • Continuous improvement of event processes and operational efficiency.
