Financial Analyst (MakerBot)

As our Financial Analyst, you will:

  • Prepare and analyze the monthly budget vs. actual results, by collecting, formatting, analyzing, and explaining information
  • Prepare and analyze the revenues forecast vs. actual sales results
  • Work with the team leaders to prepare the annual operating plan (Budget)
  • Support management planning and decision making by identifying, maintaining, and evaluating information; recommending actions
  • Work with accounting on the monthly and quarterly reporting cycle.
  • Work across functions to help departments meet their financial goals
  • Calculate commissions for sales staff as well as for external agents
  • Focus on sources of variability, understand causes, prepare materials for senior management on variances and implement data-driven forecasting improvements.
  • Develop thoughtful analyses and deliver key insights that support strategic decision making.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience as a Finance Analyst / Financial Planning and Analysis position
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or related field with strong academic performance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with NetSuite ERP software is a plus
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Communication/presentation skills with experience creating and delivering effective presentations to senior management
  • Strong skills of data extraction and exemplary Excel skills
  • Ability to work independently and deal effectively with complex projects entailing frequent interaction across teams
