Stratasys is currently seeking an AM Programmer for our Eden Prairie, MN facility. In this role you will be responsible for assessing customer data for scheduling, and technology focused manufacturability (For Fused Deposition Modeling). From there you’ll be in charge of taking customer data and producing usable build files, while also supporting machine operations. Throughout process you will be asked to collaborate with our project engineering team, quality team, and finishing team to support any process variation. Good manufacturing practices and document control is a major focus, as you will be responsible for the creation of manufacturing travelers that will inform all other downstream operations. Additional responsibilities may include but are not limited to; updating workflow system statuses, process improvement initiatives, or performing calibration processes.
A couple of other jobs duties will include:
- Organizing and prioritizing jobs for production
- Review work instructions for product information and special needs
- Manage each job during the production process
- Analyze customer data before building in order to assess manufacturability
- Communicate and coordinate with operators and finishers as it pertains to scheduling, part quality and special instructions
As a part of Stratasys, this position requires access to information and/or technology controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). The successful candidate must be a U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S. (or, green card holder), protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Intermediate math skills and understanding of geometry
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with CAD programming
- Understanding of plastics properties
- Ability to work overtime and weekends
