This position is responsible for the leadership of the manufacturing functions in the Eden Prairie location and will join the Global Operations Leadership team. Overseeing the organization’s products through production, including the planning, supply chain, quality, and engineering. 

This position will identify and implement business strategy solutions to meet the operations plans of the company in alignment with the business units it supports and ensuring profitable revenue for Stratasys through production of quality products for our customers. Accountable for exploring and developing business configurations with external business entities that guide the present and future direction of the global operations team, your responsibilities will be:

  • Operations
    • As the business leader responsible for the operations strategy to deliver on the monthly, quarterly and annual production plans.  Will manage and be responsible for the performance of the plant delivering solutions to our customers with optimized quality
    • Leads the operations facility for Planning, Production, Engineering and Quality to ensure cost effective and cost improvements to drive the revenue and profitability of the company and shorten the time to market.
    • Will drive process development and improvement approach to building and managing the organization while continuously looking at best practices around cost efficiencies.
    • Create, guide, and provide managerial oversight to the daily, monthly, quarterly, annual and long-range planning processes on production of the company systems and materials.
  • Strategic Planning
    • Will participate and partner across the global organization to align with the company strategy in the execution of Stratasys business processes and initiatives.
    • Will create, guide, and provide managerial oversight to the daily, monthly, quarterly, annual and long-range planning processes and issues within the global operations organization.
    • Responsible for communicating the business unit's strategy and product plans to the operations organization as well as providing product plans and product performance information to investor relations Board of Directors, customers, corporate personnel, and other corporate stakeholders.   
  • Management
    • Develop and lead best in class management team
    • Development of manufacturing policies and programs in alignment with the America business and Global Operations.
    • Responsible for operations analysis of the plant to include financial processes, budgeting, and corporate allocations process.
    • Completes annual performance process with regular feedback on individual and team performance
    • Responsible to drive and maintain high engagement of the organization through programs and communication

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • 12+ years’ experience in operations team to include in a role the Strategy Execution, Business Operations, Operational Efficiency or other related field in the manufacturing/assembly industry
  • 8+ years’ experience with budgeting and leadership of a multi-functional team
  • Strong business-process design experience, to include experience with contract manufacturing, including overseas suppliers.
  • At least 4 years of work experience working with sr. level executives 
  • Experience working in a global, matrixed technology company
