The US SOX Auditor is responsible for ensuring compliance with the requirements of Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 ("SOX") and ensuring efficient and effective internal control processes throughout Stratasys, LTD’s North America Operations.

 

  • Partner with internal stakeholders to understand the financial processes, determine the risk to the organization, and prioritize risk areas in control design.
  • Recommend modification to program policies and systems, as needed to ensure compliance with SOX and Internal and External audit findings
  • Develop and produce presentations and reports relevant to SOX project status, trends, and results
  • Train and guide Process and Control Owners on internal control requirements
  • Develop, maintain and identify deficiencies of internal controls and internal processes and ensure Stratasys compliance and standards are followed
  • Coordinate with external auditors and other outside consultants to ensure timely completion of SOX attestation

 

As a part of Stratasys, this position requires access to information and/or technology controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).  The successful candidate must be a U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S. (or, green card holder), protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State. 

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field of study
  • 8+ years of Accounting / Auditing experience
  • Strong transactional system skills with a proven track record of leading related process improvements
  • Computer software skills: Proficient in MS Office tools and Web applications; experience with Oracle strongly desired
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to manage through change and to lead change when appropriate

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Certified Internal Auditor Certification (CIA)
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • 3+ years of experience in Manufacturing

 

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

  • 25% may be required.
