The Tester conducts 3D printer testing, factory calibration, and verification in accordance with established work instructions. This role also performs basic troubleshooting and rework when issues arise.
What you will be doing:
- Perform 3D Printer system power-up process per work instructions
- Perform factory calibration per work instructions
- Verify factory calibration using measurement tools
- Perform basic troubleshooting of printer functionality and escalate as needed to Senior Testers or Technicians
- Rework printer per established work instructions
- Perform testing and troubleshooting of subassemblies per work instructions and functional test fixtures
- Understanding of 3D printer functionality
- Able to work with a computer and data to perform job functions
- Able to effectively operate precision measurement tools
- Demonstrated ability to use assembly hand tools
- Adept familiarity of 3D print knowledge such as hardware, software, and materials
- Validation of 3D Printer functionality per established work instructions in the following areas: 3D prints, measurements, data recording, and quality specifications
- Perform basic troubleshooting of printer functionality and escalate as needed to Senior Testers or Technicians
- Prep skins/doors, tie downs, and accessories to be shipped safely to the customer
- Ensure final product is up to quality standards functionally and cosmetically.
- Confirm the product is prepared for shipment
Must have for this role:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 4-6 years related experience in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of computers for email, transactions, quality reporting, and work instructions, ADP/HR systems
- Ability to read and understand work instructions to be able to achieve production goals
- Ability to work well with others
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Nice to have:
- Electro-mechanical experience and troubleshooting in technical manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated engagement in Lean Manufacturing and company initiatives

For this position, the typical annual starting base salary is from $to $, which does not include variable incentive pay. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. Your individual base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, geographical location, and/or experiences.
