Join a growing team and work with Stratasys Customer Service, resellers and end customers leveraging Stratasys Stereolithography and other NPI technologies for their additive needs.  Learn how customers are using these technologies and provide training to improve their workflows.


A Stratasys Technical Trainer trains resellers, customers and field repair/maintenance technicians on design, operator, software and installation/maintenance mechanical courses for Stratasys 3D Printers in North & South America.


In this role, you will initially own Stereolithography training as well as other technology platforms with new product introductions.  Topics for these classes include printer installation, maintenance/servicing, Insight and GrabCAD software, CAD Design, Benchmarking, and Post-Processing.  The person in this role will work closely with the corporate knowledge team to develop and design the content for these classes while acting as the facilitator for all US sessions.  This role is also tasked with identifying new training needs from Stratasys technicians, resellers and our customer base. With the development of new courses, you will then own the content rollout to our key training partners, managing and maintaining a level of certification standards across their trainers.



  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and/or 2+ years of experience working in a design or manufacturing environment required
  • 2+ years experience 3D printing and benchmarking parts
  • 1+ years of experience utilizing a learning management system platform
  • 1+ years of experience developing online/digital/video course content
  • Familiarity with, and/or capacity to learn, other 3D Printing technologies.



  • 1+ years of work experience in technical training, curriculum development, technical support or related educational field working with engineering/manufacturing company producing technologically advanced capital equipment.
  • Customer-focused attitude with an appropriate sense of urgency and attention to details when handling customers, process, and machine-related issues is required, as well as a willingness and ability to work as an individual, and as a team, with multiple departments
  • Creativity and willingness to gain an advanced understanding of Additive Manufacturing applications are desired attributes
  • Good verbal/written communications and presentation skills with the ability to resolve technical issues while maintaining a good working relationship with customers, resellers and internal employees is required
  • Additional language skills to be able to instruct in Spanish & Portuguese favorable (but not required)
