This role will perform technical activities leading to new or improved products or processes that have significant impact on the company.  This position is responsible to contribute to New Product Introduction (NPI) by creating assembly processes, assembly line design, BOM structure design, line labor balancing, quality and first pass yield metrics, and other related activities. This role will take the lead on some initiatives.




New Product Introduction (NPI)

  • Interfaces with design, process, test, reliability and manufacturing engineering to solve production problem and identify improvements in product design and manufacturability
  • Develops and sustains process improvements to reduce production costs and increase yields
  • Makes recommendations for changes in the selection and application of components, materials and systems. May propose changes in design or formulation to improve system and/or process reliability
  • Creates, reviews, and updates assembly and work procedures to ensure standards in documented to meet specifications
  • May lead work with other teams on process improvement initiatives


Manufacturing Engineering

  • Develops, implements and reviews methods, operation sequence and processes in the manufacture, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies or extrusion.
  • Makes recommendations for tooling and process improvements existing product lines to increase efficiency and reduce costs. Maintains records and reporting systems for coordination of manufacturing operations.
  • Guide and mentor Junior engineering and operations employees



  • Bachelor Degree Engineering or related field or 4+ Years in Manufacturing Environment
  • 5+ years of experience in a technology hardware and software based production environment
  • Proficient with the use of SolidWorks (or equivalent) and its use to create assembly jigs, fixtures, and related manufacturing aids.



  • Master’s Degree
  • Statistical analysis, quantitative and analytical problem-solving ability
