Stratasys is currently seeking a Senior Machine Maintenance Technician to join our Eden Prairie Operations department.  In this role, you will be responsible to perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting of production hardware and production fixturing and equipment.  You will also have responsibilities that include preventative maintenance of fixturing and equipment.  A couple of other duties will include:

 

Maintenance:
•    Maintains and repairs assigned equipment on the production floor with routine maintenance information 
•    Responsible for preventive maintenance upkeep of equipment through regular scheduled checks
•    Dismantles, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings
•    Coordinates administrative activities including resources allocation, installation of new equipment and parts transactions, maintain accurate performance reports on the equipment

 

Technical Support:
•    Main point of contact for production floor in the areas of equipment operations, installation, maintenance and application training
•    Oversees the reliability and uptime issues on equipment in ensure high level of satisfaction and reliability of prototypes
•    Trouble shoots and repairs software controlled electro-mechanical systems 
•    Performs root cause analysis of equipment failure
•    Uses test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts
•    Rebuilds manufacturing equipment as required and completes equipment modifications as directed by manufacturing engineers

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

•    8 years’ experience supporting complex electro-mechanical equipment
•    Experience with various hand and power tools to perform the job
•    Proficient level with MS Office products
•    Experience reading blue prints                        

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

•    Knowledge of CAD/CAM software applications and Rapid Prototyping industry experience is strongly desired
•    Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS); UpKeep software preferred
•    Forklift experience
•    Overtime may be required based on project levels

 

TRAVEL REQUIREMENT: No travel
