The Sr. Assembler is responsible to assemble printers in accordance with established manufacturing specifications determined by engineering.  Works from process sheets or written/verbal instructions given by supervisor to perform production tasks.



  • Perform assembly of assigned products based on manufacturing product procedures using a combination of hand tools and air tools.
  • Stay current on manufacturing procedures as needed to comply with change product design.
  • Rework product as required following established instructions
  • Provide trouble shooting or corrective action to bring subassemblies and systems back within requirements.
  • Meet all production plans based on published schedules for the line
  • Communicate and escalate any product issues to engineering
  • Documentation of all line data sheets on individual assigned lines
  • Identify and report issues with quality and out of specification of products
  • Maintain a 5S work cell
  • Maintain other work in assigned areas during periods of downtime
  • Maintain necessary quality and build rate standards.
  • Continuously learning new technologies and apply ideas of improvements where applicable.
  • Perform necessary inventory transitions, movements and cycle counts as required.



  • High School Diploma, or equivalent (1+ years on an extrusion line experience lieu of education)
  • 8+ years in a manufacturing environment within the technical industry
  • 1+ year of computers use. (Able to: send and receive emails, use ADP/HR management systems)



  • Ability to read and understand work instructions to be able to achieve production goals
  • Experience in technical manufacturing environment
