We are trusted worldwide by leading manufacturers and groundbreaking designers, makers, thinkers and doers. We currently have an opening for a Sr. Human Resources Manager who will partner closely with our America’s Operations team which includes manufacturing, information technology, facilities, legal, EHS and quality & regulatory affairs in delivering world-class human resource management and acting as a trusted advisor to both leaders and employees. 

  

At Stratasys, the Sr. Human Resources Manager role contributes to company performance by providing tactical and strategic consulting on people and organization development strategies in support of our business objectives. This role performs HR related duties at the professional level while supporting more than one functional group. The Sr. Human Resources Manager will carry out responsibilities in the following functional areas: leadership coaching; employee engagement; employee relations consultation; policy interpretation and application, performance and compensation management; talent acquisition and talent management consultation. 

  

Responsibilities: 

  • Primary point of contact for senior leaders, providing expertise and guidance in the areas of organizational performance, performance management, culture and change management, coaching, talent management, workforce planning and organizational design. 

  • Develops and executes action plans to proactively resolve employee concerns and drive engagement. Builds strong partnerships with the HR specialist functions to roll out corporate wide programs and ensure client’s needs are understood and met. 

  • Coaches business leaders on leadership behaviors and practices, employee communication, development and performance management strategies and tactics to promote engagement and a culture of continuous growth and development.  Monitors company/management actions to support Employee Engagement Survey results and conducts feedback sessions as needed following survey. 

  • Evaluates and Navigates ambiguous situations/questions related to employees’ benefits/leave programs; salary, wages, and payroll; company and HR policies; recognition; recruiting, onboarding and training; performance management, corrective action, and discipline. 

  • Compliance knowledge with federal, state, and local laws and regulations and company policies and procedures for multiple facilities 

  

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology or closely related field. 

  • 7+ years experience in human resources business partner/generalist role 

  • Strong organizational skills, including ability to prioritize and organize work effectively. 

  • 5+ years experience with human resources key principles and practices of HR including employee relations, recruitment and retention, performance management, salary/wage administration, benefits administration, learning and development, and communications. 

  • 3+ years experience in a matrix organization 

  

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources or Business Administration 

  • HR Certification (SPHR or PHR) 

  • Strong interpersonal, communication skills and listening skills. 

  • Strong leadership skills; must be results/action-oriented and self-motivating. 

  • Demonstrated effectiveness in establishing and building relationships with all levels of an organization. 

  • Ability to exercise influence at all levels of an organization regarding actions taken to implement and/or enforce HR policies/procedures. 

  • Solid presentation skills and ability to tailor delivery to professional and remote audiences. 

  

TRAVEL REQUIREMENT: 10%
