Stratasys Direct Manufacturing (SDM) is seeking a Project Planner to coordinate with Project Managers, Operations, customers, and vendors to plan and execute customer programs aligned with company goals. This role ensures order accuracy, facilitates smooth job releases to the shop, and proactively addresses potential issues to support timely and efficient project fulfillment.

 

What you will be doing:

  • Prepare work orders and data for production, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Develop diagrams and graphic aids for operations, enhancing manufacturing and inspection processes
  • Perform thorough contract reviews with relevant documentation to capture requirements and cascade them onto the work order
  • Verify hardware availability or initiate timely orders to prevent delays
  • Generate Purchase Order (PO) Requests with applicable flow-downs of customer requirements
  • Manage program Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and manufacturing issues, revisiting when initiating reorders
  • Conduct scheduling and status tracking, including the setup and hosting of status update meetings as needed and required by the customer
  • Collaborate with purchasing and vendors to procure materials and services, ensuring the fulfillment of the Bill of Materials (BOM)
  • Establish, communicate, and execute Engineering Change Request (ECR) and Engineering Change Order (ECO) processes when required
  • Coordinate with Project Managers and Operations to provide recovery dates to Sales/Customer in cases of order delays or cancellations
  • Submit nonconformances to customers to determine disposition
  • Actively participate in trainings for POD tech to enhance knowledge of the process/material and post-processes
  • Follow all company safety policies and proceduresAttend all required company training

  • Other Responsibilities as assigned by the department or manager

 

Must have for this role:

As a part of Stratasys, this position requires access to information and/or technology controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).  The successful candidate must be a U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S. (or, green card holder), a protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State. 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum one year experience in a Fulfillment Services role such as Customer Care or Production Administrator, OR 2+ years’ operations experience in additive manufacturing and custom manufacturing
  • Demonstrated history of seeking out learning opportunities and strong critical thinking skills
  • Demonstrate ability to work in a cross-functional team environment and clearly communicate technical requirements and status of assigned projects
  • Written and verbal communication is clear and concise
  • Must have experience with Microsoft Office products

 

Nice to have:

  • Understanding of various manufacturing process specs, standards and other technical documents Ability to read 2D Drawings, understand GD&T and design intent
  • Understanding of SolidWorks and/or other CAD programs
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
  • Prior experience with various manufacturing methods such as CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, injection molding, vacuum forming, etc.

For this position, the typical annual starting base salary is from $58,251 to $72,576, which does not include variable incentive pay. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. Your individual base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, geographical location, and/or experiences.
