Location: Eden Prairie, MN 

 

Stratasys is currently seeking a Production Supervisor to join our Operations department.  This department works in the manufacturing of 3D printers and materials.  In this role you will direct the development and implementation of activities in production areas to meet production goals, quality and cost objectives.  You will execute the production schedule and plan direct labor resources.  You will also administer procedures and budgets and select, develop and evaluate personnel to ensure the most efficient operation of the function. 

 

A couple other duties will include:

  • Foster good communication and teamwork within production and with other departments
  • Work with the leadership team to improve procedures and processes to reduce scrap and rework
  • Encourage employees to participate in the continuous improvement process
  • Ensure production team follows all established safety procedures and systems
  • Assist in developing safe operating procedures for machines/equipment
  • Supervise operations of the production business unit including workflow, people and resources
  • Lead the assigned area to ensure good employee working environment and resolve employee personal conflicts
  • Determine staffing needs based on schedule and line capacities

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associates/Technical degree or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years in a production environment
  • 2+ years supervisory experience in a production facility

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Lean Certification
  • Six Sigma Certification
