Stratasys is seeking a Production Planner for our Eden Prairie (SMACS) location.

 

In this role you will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and movement of material through the production cycle. This role also oversees material requirements from production schedules.

 

What you will be doing:

  • Review and firm MRP suggestions and plan jobs in support of the production schedule
  • Coordinate and communicate changes to the production schedule or build quantity with the other departments, update ERP with changes and actual production output
  • Work with engineering on jobs for new parts or changes to existing parts, and on special or custom jobs that require modifications to standard job travelers
  • Issue workorders and picklists for pulling kitting orders
  • Analyze and review actions based on MRP/ERP and actual build schedules

 

As a part of Stratasys, this position requires access to information and/or technology controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).  The successful candidate must be a U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S. (or, green card holder), protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.  

 

Must have for this role:

  • Associates Degree in business or general studies 
  • 3+ years’ experience in scheduling of a manufacturing plant
  • Abilities to coordinate planning and organization of multiple projects
  • Proficient MRP experience; Oracle preferred

 

Nice to have:

  • 2+ years’ experience in a Lean manufacturing environment
  • CPIM Certification
