The Manager Manufacturing Sales Training will heavily contribute to the creation and delivery of a best-in-class approach for selling into the Manufacturing industry. In this role you will be responsible for leading, planning and executing effective and results-driven sales training programs for Stratasys. Primary responsibilities are to educate, develop and train Stratasys, channel partner, sales and application engineering teams to become trusted advisors to their manufacturing and industrial customers.



  • Create the overarching training framework, contribute to its content development, and in some cases, serve as a direct trainer and facilitator. Some deliverables to Stratasys and channel sellers include:
    • Discerning the factors and levers that affect manufacturing customer buying decisions.
    • Translating the features and functions of Stratasys technologies and materials into manufacturing and production value propositions.
    • Defining and positioning financial selling models and tools specific to the industry
    • Understanding the operational interactions within a manufacturing organization, with its partner network and across its supply chain.
    • This position supports the Industrial Business Unit globally and requires excellence in leadership, communication
  • Develop a manufacturing sale training curriculum and learning path for Stratasys and Channel partner, sales and technical sales (Application Engineer) roles.
  • Scale, roll out and update training in phases to all three regions: Americas, EMEA and Asia.
  • Establish key metrics, measuring and reporting on training effectiveness to drive continual improvement.
  • Collaborate with leadership to identify training gaps and propose solutions to address those gaps.
  • Help our sellers maintain relevancy at every single touchpoint in a sales lifecycle and in the evolving manufacturing market.
  • Continually evaluate the training curriculum, creating new approaches and evaluating and leveraging third party vendors as necessary.
  • Assess and promote selling tools that will reduce the sales cycle and improve win rates.
  • Collect and distribute information to the sales organization, becoming a subject matter expert in opportunities identified by the field.



  • Bachelor's degree in degree in Business (Finance, Marketing, Supply Chain, etc.) or 2 year techneical degre with 2 years related experience.
  • 6+ years experience in a Sales Training, Sales Enablement, Sales Operations or Sales Process role targeting the Manufacturing industry.
  • Experience in working closely with sales and company leadership
  • Experience building and maintaining a Sales Training function with quantifiable results



  • Experience with machine tooling, 3D printing or other Advanced Manufacturing technologies
  • Familiarity with learning management system (LMS) technologies
  • Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving team environment
  • Executive presentation and conversation skills
  • Excellent written & oral communication
