Logistics Coordinator

The Logistics Coordinator will be primarily responsible for overseeing and supporting outbound and inbound shipping activities for the Americas region. This position will work closely with our third-party carriers and warehouse providers (TPLs), along with internal customer facing teams to ensure outstanding customer experience.  Using data driven approach, will identify solutions aimed toward maximizing efficiency and service, along with minimizing damages. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Work with TPLs to resolve any issues with order fulfillment, shipment and delivery
  • Ensure shipping transactions are processed timely and accurately across systems
  • Hands-on interaction and problem solving with TPLs
  • Work with customers and carriers to arrange and schedule return shipments
  • Design, generate, and monitor reports tracking TPL warehousing and carrier performance
  • Evolve and maintain department policies and systems in alignment with Company goals and objectives

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate’s degree
  • 3+ years in logistics, service, or support role
  • 1 year of ERP experience, currently using Oracle.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4-year degree in supply chain or logistics related field
  • Experience and familiarity with best practices in leading teams supporting transportation and warehousing
  • Certification and/or knowledge of Hazardous Goods shipping regulations
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work well minimal supervision
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and follow specified procedures
