This role will be part of the transformation of our strategic and industry solution capabilities, and partner closely with the global GTM to activate the transformation of the commercial function for General Manufacturing and Service Bureau.  This role requires a direct industry thought leadership from a broad manufacturing background, stays at the forefront of the industry trends and how these industry trends impact additive manufacturing (AM). 

This role is a collaborative leader who can work cross-functionally to identify the most attractive AM applications where AM should play as well as building the playbooks and driving industry campaigns for how to win in those areas. 

 

Responsibilities:

 

Lead strategic growth planning within General Manufacturing and Service Bureaus as part of the Stratasys annual planning process

  • Identify strategic growth opportunities (SGO) within the General Manufacturing and Service Bureau industry
  • Work with the Industrial strategy team to estimate total available market (TAM) and compound annual growth rate (CAGR%)
  • Map application opportunities leveraging the existing Industrial portfolio within the Stratasys polymer ecosystem

 

 

Activate and deploy the industry campaigns with all aspects of GTM channels

  • Create Industry campaign plan with the support from the functional marketing team as well as the new product introduction (NPI) team. 
  • Develop campaign activation plans with General Manufacturing and Service Bureau key account management (KAM) teams and global commercial enablement teams
  • Present in industry conferences or at key customer meetings in a group setting as well as in large virtual events and General Manufacturing and Service Bureau webinars

 

Measure, improve and provide market feedback

  • Market data driven with a focus on the holistic General Manufacturing market needs, not individual manufacturing account
  • Monitor new market drivers within manufacturing and stay close to the major technology disruptors that will potentially impact additive manufacturing (AM) adoptions

 

Deliver high-quality global campaigns across the globe

  • Provide in-depth understanding of copywriting for all formats—digital, print, out-of-home, video and audio scripts, and more
  • Synthesize strategic research and/or data to develop campaign ideas
  • Lead the creation of presentations; present ideas and concepts to clients, agencies, and internally
  • Make creative trade-off decisions between teams, clients, and end-customer needs
  • Measure and evaluate current processes within the department and improve them through documentation
  • Lead, mentor and inspire other creatives

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree degree in engineering or Marketing or other related disciplines
  • 5+ years in marketing or related fields (i.e. manufacturing, automotive)
  • 3+ direct industry experience from Automotive or other major transportation industries
  • 2+ experience working with customers on marketing solutions.   

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • MBA preferred
  • Experience working in a matrix organization
  • Experience working in manufacturing
  • Understanding of the various additive technologies versus traditional technologies

 

TRAVEL REQUIREMENT: 25 %  Local and some International too
