Stratasys is looking for a Corporate Counsel to join our team!  In this role you will be responsible for partnering with internal business partners to support the Sales function and other corporate functions, such as Business Development and also internal business partners to support the HR function and promote the Legal Center of Excellence for Employment.  You will provide and manage legal services related to commercial contracts, business matters, corporate matters and employment matters.  You will also provide a variety of legal services to in-house clients.  A few other responsibilities will be:


  • Review and work with internal business partners to negotiate acceptable commercial terms and conditions with customers, including purchase orders and master agreements for the sale of products and services.
  • Work with internal business partners to support non-disclosure agreements with third-parties
  • Work on M&A matters, including legal agreements, transactions, and post-merger integrations
  • Draft, review, and revise employment contracts, such as restrictive agreements, NDAs and separation agreements


As a part of Stratasys, this position requires access to information and/or technology controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).  The successful candidate must be a U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S. (or, green card holder), protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State



  • Juris Doctorate, equivalent or greater from a program accredited by the American Bar Association
  • Admitted to practice law in at least one U.S. State
  • 5+ years of experience in general corporate matters with a focus on commercial sales contracts and employment matters
  • Knowledge of Anti-Corruption, ITAR, EAR, and FAR/DFAR matters
  • Knowledge of commercial sales contracts, M&A Agreements, transactions, post-merger integration, and employment matters



  • Mastery of general commercial terms in purchase and sales agreements
  • Demonstrated experience supporting Sales Teams with minimal supervision
  • Experience with privacy and data laws
  • Experience working in a complex and sophisticated international business environment
  • Experience with government sales contracts
  • Experience with healthcare sales contracts
  • Experience with FDA Regulations
  • Experience managing others
