An Assembler II performs product assembly and testing according to established procedures. They also help train new assemblers and support the Lead with quality and production monitoring.
What you will be doing:
- Learn written manufacturing product procedures
- Assemble products following manufacturing procedures using a combination of hand tools and air tools
- Rework product as required following established rework instructions
- May operate test equipment using defined operating procedures
- Provides basic level of troubleshooting or corrective action to bring subassemblies and systems back within requirements
- Re-train on manufacturing procedures as needed to comply with changing product designs
- Perform necessary inventory transactions, movements and cycle counts as required
- Train on all written manufacturing product procedures for a product or on test/repair procedures for a product in manufacturing
- Train assemblers on manufacturing and test procedures when needed
- Maintain necessary quality and build rate standards
- Identify and report quality issues with sub-assemblies and components
- Maintain an organized work environment
- Understand and manufacture at multiple assembly stations or test stations at expected production rates and quality levels
- Continuously learn new technologies and apply ideas for improvements where applicable
- Communicates problems to appropriate personnel
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Attend all required company training
- Demonstrate commitments to Stratasys Behaviors by leading, acting, and modeling these values
- Other Responsibilities as assigned by the department or manager
Must have for this role:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2-4 years related experience in a manufacturing environment
- Good understanding and use of mathematics
- Knowledge of computer skills required to send and receive emails, use ADP/HRMS, use test operating systems, and other systems to communicate with supervisors or any others within Stratasys
- Ability to read and understand work instructions
- Ability to work well with others
Nice to have:
- Experience in technical manufacturing environment
- Experience using various mechanical assembly tools including hand tools and air tools strongly desired

For this position, the typical annual starting base salary is from $, which does not include variable incentive pay. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. Your individual base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, geographical location, and/or experiences.
