We are seeking a skilled Additive Manufacturing Programmer to join our team, where you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless production of high-quality parts. Your primary responsibility will be evaluating customer data to confirm manufacturability with specific technologies, creating accurate build files, and providing ongoing support for machine operations. You will work closely with engineering, quality, and finishing teams to address any process variations and overcome manufacturing challenges.

 

Your key responsibilities include adhering to best manufacturing practices, maintaining document control, and generating comprehensive manufacturing travelers. In addition to these duties, you may be called upon to back up machine operations, update workflow system statuses, track machine/material performance KPIs, and assist with floor maintenance. What you will be doing:

  • Organize, review, and create builds
  • Support appropriate PE/PA and customer expectations
  • Follow work instructions to assist on workflow
  • Work with other departments to better assist customers
  • Cover machine operators
  • Analyze and repair customer files in Solid View and Magics to assess manufacturability
  • Responsible for compliance with all required specifications for each job and their special needs
  • Responsible for travelers to be analyzed per job requirement
  • Communicate and coordinate with other departments as it pertains to special instructions, part quality, and scheduling
  • Escalate when problems in build arise, may troubleshoot minor issues with operators
  • Responsible for compliance with all Quality Systems Management
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures
  • Attend all required company training
  • Demonstrate commitments to Stratasys Behaviors by leading, acting, and modeling these values
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by the department or manager

 

 Must have for this role:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • A minimum of 2 years of previous work experience with additive machines
  • Proficiency with Solid View and Magics
  • Intermediate math skills and understanding of geometry
  • Knowledge of additive manufacturing technology
  • Knowledge of machine operating hardware and software
  • Proficiency in the English language verbal, reading and written
  • Basic computer skills email and proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work well with others in a team

 

Nice to have:

  • Experience in CAD programs is preferred
  • Some understanding of plastic properties
  • Highly organized and capable of multi-tasking in a deadline driven environment
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends
